On the Campaign
He was wounded in action at Fox's Gap on South Mountain on 14 September 1862.
The rest of the War
He transferred to the 19th Company, 2nd Battalion, Veteran Reserve Corps on 1 September 1863 and mustered out on 18 August 1865.
