On the Campaign
He was listed as missing in action at Sharpsburg on 17 September 1862.
The rest of the War
He was wounded in the foot at Chancellorsville, VA on 2 May 1863, and his foot was amputated. He was detailed away from his unit in January 1864 with no later record.
