On the Campaign

He was wounded in the hand in action at Antietam on 17 September 1862.

The rest of the War

He was still in a hospital in York, PA in December 1862 with no further record. Possibly had later service in the 1st, 21st and 3rd Wisconsin Infantry Regiments 1863-65.
