On the Campaign

He was probably wounded in action at Sharpsburg on 17 September 1862.

The rest of the War

He was admitted to a Confederate General Hospital on 25 September 1862. He was captured at Tuscumbia, AL on 3 March 1863 and briefly in the Federal prison at Alton, IL. He was exchanged on 1 April 1863 with no later record.
