Wound and hospital details from the Patient List.1 He is not found in the records for 6th SC Infantry as J.W. Martin. There are other Martins in that unit including J.D (Co. A), J.E. (Co. D), John H. (Co. C), and Joseph (Co. B). The only one listed in Company H is an R.A. Martin.
