Henry G. Bassett

He enlisted on 15 August 1861 as a Private in Company K, 32nd Ohio Infantry.

He was wounded in action on Bolivar Heights at Harpers Ferry on 15 September 1862.

He died in 1863 in Vicksburg, MS.

Basic service from the Roster,1 which says he died of his Harpers Ferry wound on 18 January 1863 at Vicksburg, MS. His memorial is on Findagrave, with a death date of 16 November 1863, which suggests he died there of a later injury or illness rather than his Harpers Ferry wound. This seems the more likely possibility.
