John Gilbert Nix

A 17 year old watchmaker's son from Wilson, TN, he enlisted as a Private, Company A, 7th Tennessee Infantry about 15 May 1861.

He was wounded in action at Harpers Ferry, VA on 14 September 1862.

By 1880 he was a farmer in Wilson, TN. In 1910 he was living in a rented room in St. Louis, MO.
