James Walker Stockstill

Known as Walker, he was a 22 year old farmer on his mother's place in Lincoln County when enlisted as Private, Company E, First Tennessee Infantry, probably in April 1861.

On the Campaign

He was killed in action at Sharpsburg on 17 September 1862.
