On the Campaign

He was wounded in action near Turner's Gap on South Mountain on 14 September 1862.

The rest of the War

He was captured at Gettysburg, PA in July 1863 and held at Fort Delaware for almost two years, until 14 June 1865.

After the War

In 1880 he was a farmer in Ridge, Fayette County. In 1900 he was farming in Comanche County, TX.
