On the Campaign
He was slightly wounded in the leg in action at Sharpsburg, MD on 17 September 1862.
The rest of the War
He was wounded again, at Chancellorsville, VA in May 1863 and for the third time, by a gunshot on 23 June 1864, place not given. He was in Richmond, VA hospitals to at least 23 September. He was surrendered and paroled at Appomattox Court House, VA on 9 April 1865.
