He was wounded in action, leg and arm, on 17 September 1862 at Antietam.
The rest of the War
He transferred to Company B on 12 June 1863. He re-enlisted as a veteran on February 29, 1864. Mustered out with company on June 30, 1865, at Alexandria, Va.
