The rest of the War

He was in US Army General Hospital #1 in Frederick, MD to about 18 September and afterward was a prisoner at Fort Delaware to 2 October, then sent to Aikens' Landing, VA for exchange. He was admitted to a hospital in Richmond, VA on 10 October and was formally exchanged on 10 November 1862.

He received pay on 13 March 1863 in Richmond, VA with no later military record.
