On the Campaign

He was slightly wounded in the foot in action at Sharpsburg on 17 September 1862.

The rest of the War

He was disabled by his Sharpsburg wound and assigned light duty at Milledgeville. He was discharged afterward, date not given.

After the War

He was living in Milledgeville by about 1903. By 1925 he had been tax receiver of Baldwin County for 14 years.
