At U.S. General Hospital Frederick, Maryland 10/22/1862 with leg wound. Released from Point Lookout, Maryland, January 1863. Furloughed for 40 days from General Hospital at Petersburg, Virginia, on account of wound, and furnished transportation to Georgia, January 30, 1863. Exchanged January 1863. Roll for February 28, 1865, last on file, shows him absent, sick. Pension records show he was at home on wounded furlough close of war.
