The rest of the War

Originally buried "at a rock brake in Grave's [Grove's?] field west of his house, close to a small cherry tree on right of and sixty yards from Shepherdstown road", near the battlefield at Sharpsburg. Probably reinterred at Hagerstown in about 1874.

Burial information from Pruett1, who lists him as Frederick Duber. Owen2 has him as Douber and killed at Sharpsburg.
