Basic information from Commonwealth of Massachusetts1. Age 20, shoemaker from North Brookfield on enlistment as Corporal in July 1861. Wounded in action at the Wilderness, VA on 6 May 1864, and transferred to Company K of the 20th Massachusetts Infantry 12 July 1864. He had also served in the 103rd New York Infantry.
