Basic information from Commonwealth of Massachusetts1. Age 21, a laborer from Uxbridge on enlistment in May 1861. Promoted Corporal 17 February 1862, to Sergeant 1 May 1863. Wounded in action at Gettysburg on 3 July 1863 and died of wounds at Baltimore, MD on 24 July 1863.
