Basic information from Commonwealth of Massachusetts1. Age 21, a studnet from Whitinsville on enlistment in August 1862. Promoted to Corporal on 18 September 1862 and Sergeant on 8 April 1863. Wounded in action 3 July 1863 at Gettysburg, PA and died 1 August 1863 at Baltimore, MD of wounds.
