Basic information from Commonwealth of Massachusetts1. Age 18, a wire drawer from Worcester on enlistment in June 1861. Wounded again in action at Gettysburg, PA in July 1863, by then a Corporal. Captured in action at Petersburg, VA 22 June 1864. Transferred in July 1864 to Company K, 20th Massachusetts Infantry as Sergeant.
