On the Campaign

He was wounded in action on 17 September 1862 at Sharpsburg.

The rest of the War

He was again wounded, in action at Chancellorsville, VA on 4 May 1863. He was captured in action at Rappahannock Station, VA on 7 November 1863 and held at Point Lookout, MD until paroled on 4 June 1865.
