Age 30, a farmer from Milford on enlistment in June 1861. He was in Company D.
On the Campaign
He was wounded in action on 17 September 1862.
The rest of the War
Wounded also at Gettysburg, PA on 1 July 1863, promoted Corporal 6 May 1864, and mortally wounded at Cold Harbor, VA on 30 May. He died 6 July 1864 of wounds in Boston.
