Before Antietam
He was 25 years old and stated he was a farmer from Marlboro when he enlisted in June 1861. He was in Company F.
On the Campaign
He was wounded in action on 17 September 1862.
The rest of the War
He was propmoted to Corporal (date?). He was captured in action at Gettysburg on 1 July 1863, and returned to the regiment on 17 August 1863. He mustered out at the expiration of his term of service 1 August 1864.
After the War
He was a resident of Worcester, Massachusetts and was a fireman and cabinet maker. He died of Bright's Disease in 1894.
