On the Campaign

He was promoted to Corporal on 17 September 1862.

The rest of the War

He was promoted to Sergeant on 28 February 1863, and slightly wounded at Gettysburg in July. He mustered out with his Company on 28 May 1865 at Bailey's Crossroads, VA.
