Exchanged at Aiken's Landing, Virginia November 10, 1862. Transferred to Company E, 10th Battalion Georgia Infantry, in exchange for W. H. Johnson, January 1863. Wounded. Roll for October 1864, last on file, shows him absent, wounded and furloughed by Medical Examining Board. No later record.
