On the Sharpsburg Campaign

The battery consisted of one section of two Ordnance Rifles at Sharpsburg. They arrived on the field on the afternoon of September 17th from Harpers Ferry. The Napoleons remained at Harpers Ferry, along with most of the men of the battery.
