Notes for this map segment:

"Lt. Delaum 97 N.Y." - is Lieutenant Louis Dallarmi. His name also seen as Von Dallarmi or Delorme.

"J. Hamond 12 Mass." - No one by that name (or similar) is among the dead from the 12th or any Massachusetts regiment. The best match for this person may be James Hayward of Company I, 12th Massachusetts, but that's a stretch.

"D. Clark Ala." - I have not found an Alabamian named Clark or similar who died at Sharpsburg. There were at least 4 Confederates named Clark (none with first name beginning with "D") from other states who died there and could have been buried on the field. For the moment this name simply links to the AotW search page.

"G.D. Berry 13 Mass." - is Private George O. Berry, Company G.

"Geo. Dow 20 N.Y." - is Georg Dorr, Company A.

"D.H. Hallman 23 Ga." - is Lieutenant Vincent H. Hallum, Company D.

"J.N. Miller" - the only J.N. Miller killed at Antietam was Jacob N. Miller, 111th Pennsylvania. But there were at least 2 other similarly named soldiers who were in the same general area and were likely to have been buried on the field: John M. Miller, 5th Ohio and Joseph M. Miller, 11th Pennsylvania.

"John Aplin 13 N.Y." - is probably Private John Aplin of the 13th New Jersey Infantry. The 13th New York was not seriously engaged at Antietam and reported no casualties there.
